Important Changes are made in the Skilled Wokers immigration regulations.
On November 28, 2008, Canadian government introduced the new rules, under which the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism will give the accelerated processing and priority to applicants with work experience in one of the occupations from the List of Occupations. The Minister promises to process their applications within 6-12 months. This will introduce an effective change in processing times at many overseas visa posts.

- College and Vocational Instructors
- Financial Managers
- Financial Auditors
- Accountants
